With the launch of Hulu Plus on Windows Phone 8, Microsoft has landed yet another big-name app for its mobile operating system.
Shows available via Hulu Plus app for Windows Phone 8Hulu Plus is now available through the Windows Phone store. The app allows subscribers to stream the current seasons of TV shows such as Community, Family Guy, and Modern Family (shown above), older shows such as Lost and Arrested Development, and a selection of movies, including classics from Criterion.
Subscriptions to Hulu Plus cost $8 per month, but new users can get a one-week free trial.
As for Windows Phone-specific features, Hulu says the app’s Live Tile will show “updates on the hottest shows.” However, users cannot pin favorite shows to the Start screen.
